After the announcement that PES 2009 would be released on the PS3,XBOX 360,PS2,Nintendo DS and the PSP, some gamers noticed the lack of any mention of the Wii version. Due to it’s relative success on the innovative new platform, it came as a big shock that they did not have anything lined up at the moment.
Konami had this to say on PES 2009 for the Wii: “We cannot comment on anything other than is in the release.”
However, it is very early days and an announcement in the near future announcing its release on the platform would come as no surprise.

The wii version of pes2008 was the best version, though after a while you could score pretty much 7 or 8 goals a game regardless of who you are because of the shooting mechanism.
