Just a heads up for the 4 of you that still play Konami’s laggy mess that is PES 2008 online, an “emergency maintenance” has been scheduled on July the 7th. I personally doubt they would try to improve the online performance while they are right in the middle of development for PES 2009, but it would be a pleasant surprise!

Hi guys, got the message when I logged into online for the PS3 on PES 208, just a little message saying PES 2008 will undergo emergency maintenance on July 7th between 8 to 10. I don’t have a 360 so if anyone wants to try that out, they can tell me.

Yeah I’ve checked with a 360 owner and they do not have it. Only PS3 and PC owners have seen this message.

whats the point? if this is for the online lag this should of been done last yr . pro08 let me down, and the screen shot for pro09 look the same as ever no change. for def going to play both footy games b4 i buy this yr.

I bought the game last year for my pc and the game was awful everything !!! no england league no shit !! u know these stupid Japs r so lazy believe me i`v been playin this video game series from 1999 !!! I started from ps1 series from the year when Japs didnt know what soccer is !!and they had their first appearance at world cup !!My national team Iran is always shown ugly creepy or even they show us like gringos like Mexican !! Japs made a hardcore PES gamer like me disapionted last year !!after almost 10 years !!
